In 2012, cousins, Emma Garland and Sarah Armstrong launched The Block Shop, to help viewers in their quest to find the amazing products used on The Block.

Both had come from working at Channel 9, Emma as The Block’s Social Media Manager and Sarah as the show’s publicist where it was obvious that viewers wanted help finding where to buy products featured on the show.
